Greenment conducted a comprehensive survey of the historical emission data of 60+ enterprises within the boundary of the park to understand the historical changes and characteristics of greenhouse gas emissions in the park. On this basis, combined with the industrial development planning and development plans of the park, the peak time and peak value of the overall emissions of the park under different scenarios were estimated. With achievable goals as the premise, possible technical routes are proposed for the existing and future industrial models and carbon emission methods that the park may involve, forming an implementation path for the park to reach its carbon peak and carbon neutrality.

Biodiversity Assessment and Risk Control in Guinea, Africa ...... ..

Greenment assisted the client in evaluating existing environmental and ecological information and biological survey data, coordinating more effective baseline surveys to clarify the distribution and abundance of key species.  This helped develop specific avoidance, mitigation and compensation measures.  Based on the survey findings, the client established a systematic ecological conservation management plan, carried out experimental planting trials, explored the optimization of topsoil and topstone storage.  The study considered the overall lifecycle of the project, and assisted the client in establishing a systematic vegetation restoration plan.

Feasibility Study on the Overseas Sustainable Development Fund of a Listed Company

Greenment has established long-term and extensive professional partnerships with multiple international NGOs. In response to the challenges of ESG management faced by Chinese companies in their international development, consideration is being given to pioneeringly establishing and arranging Sustainable Development Funds (Foundation) overseas. This initiative will assist clients in conducting feasibility studies and exploring practical operability, design the top-level operation models, and provide multiple response mechanisms and help the management of the challenges on sustainable development and the associated risks involved in overseas investment projects. While safeguarding the smooth progress of these projects, it also represents a valuable practice for the internationalization of ESG management by Chinese enterprises.

ESG Management Gap Analysis for a A-share Main Boad Listed Company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (Jiangsu Fine Chemical Industry)

Greenment assisted the client in seizing the opportunities arise from ESG ratings.  By integrating mainstream international ESG practices around four main aspects of the company on: environment management, labor and human rights, business ethics and sustainable procurement, the team conducted gap analysis and performance assessment in this assignment. This helped the company improve their sustainable development management frameworks, achieve continuous improvement, and compile ESG reports as well as provide disclosure recommendations.

In alignment with the headquarters' objectives and the sustainable development of its operations in China, Greenment provided an assessment of greenhouse gas emissions and energy utilization for the Chinese facilities of an international industrial gas giant. Through data collection, on-site inspections, internal comparisons and external benchmarking, potential areas for energy savings and risks associated with sustainable operations were identified. Constructive suggestions for energy conservation and operational management, as well as recommendations for internal communication and dialogue with local governments, were provided to on-site managers. In addition, recommendations for digital upgrades, sustainable operations and consistent group-wide communications were offered to the management team in China.

Assisting Anqing Medical in completing carbon neutrality assessments and certification statements for the factory and products.

Following relevant international standards, Greenment Environment’s carbon team compiled an organizational level carbon inventory for the factory of Anqing Medical, a global leader in the medical endoscope sector. The team assessed the carbon footprint of key products from "cradle to gate." Based on this and in accordance with the international standard PAS 2060:2014, the team assisted Anqing Medical in completing a carbon neutrality certification statement for the factory and a carbon neutral pledge certification statement for the products. This move helped Anqing Medical better address the trade barriers posed by the implementation of the European Green Deal and the requirements of carbon neutrality for imported goods in certain countries and regions.
