Synergistic Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emissions through Digital Management

In June 2022, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and six other departments jointly issued the Implementation Plan for Synergistic Reduction of Pollution and Carbon Emissions, proposing to carry out regional and corporate synergistic innovation for pollution and carbon reduction. By 2025, a number of replicable and promotable typical experiences will be formed and the degree of synergistic reduction of pollution and carbon emissions will be effectively improved.
We provide Suzhou Industrial Park Sino French Water, under Suez, with innovative solutions for pollution and carbon reduction in the Shanghai Chemical Industrial Park. Through artificial intelligence technology and digital tools, we realize the whole process of pollution and carbon reduction from water intake to drainage, and quantitatively track the action strategies. Based on the existing data on carbon emissions and pollutant reduction, we adopt the synergistic index for pollution and carbon reduction, seeking balance between the existing efficiency of sewage treatment and carbon emissions, and exploring a greener, low-carbon and more efficient path for sewage treatment.
